Yesterday, I had the opportunity to attend the Sarah Palin rally in York PA.  It was a wonderful experience let me tell you.   I found out about the event when I surfing the John McCain website the night before.  Therefore, I have decided to leave my home very early to drive up to York to get my ticket. The weather and the beautiful fall foliage made this trip more enjoyable. 

I arrived at the York County GOP headquarters approximately 9:15am to pick up my ticket.  Afterwards, I have proceeded back to I-83 N to the York Fairgrounds.  Fortunately, I have arrived early enough to secure a good place in line.  The doors at the Toyota Arena opened at 12:00 PM.   I was so happy and excited that I was in the front of the stage which afforded me to take great close up photos of the future second family.  I was actually 10 ft away from Gov Palin.  I just couldn't believe it.  I just had to pinch myself.

All the attendees try to endure the long for Gov. Palin with entertainment of Pennsylvania's musical talents. We were getting very restless because we were there for one reason alone to see Gov Palin and history being made.   Up and coming Country music star, 17 year old Sarah Marince performed.  She released her first CD earlier this year.   She was the most popular entertainer during the rally.  She signed a lot of autographs during after her performance.  In addition, a bluegrass band, and another Country star Pat Garrett peformed as well.  Mr. Garrett performed his song about Gov Palin, "Moose Shooting Mama" which was played on Fox's Bill O'Reilly Program.  Mr. Garrett also try to crack some humorous jokes and self promoted his website didn't really bode well with most of the crowd. But I did enjoy some of his music. He asked the crowd whether if he could perform another song.  The crowd shouted out to him, "NO, WE WANTED SARAH!"  Many PA state officials made some campaign speeches as well.

When the Straight Talk Express entered on the right side of the stage, the arena suddenly got dark and the crowd started to go nuts as Michael Jackson's Thriller played over the speakers.  Former PA Governor Tom Ridge introduced Gov Palin , her husband Todd and daughter Piper.  As the Pali ns family approached the stage the crowd went wild.  Piper was so adorable as a snow princess. 

Gov  Palin talked about the importance of electing Sen McCain in these trying times for our nation.  She was very eloquent as well as photogenic in person.  Now I can understand even more why everyone loves Gov .Palin.  She is the future of the GOP.   She is the real deal.  A  special friend of mine from PA has told me over a month ago that she is 'the American's answer to Britain's Margaret Thatcher.'  I concur.

My visit to York, PA was complete when Todd Palin shaked my hand.  I was actually face to face with the Palins.  Piper had given  her Halloween candy to the front row which was very sweet. Gov Palin signed for me a digital photo that was given to me by a gentleman who stood behind me in line.  He had taken the photo at the Lancaster Rally.   He given osome photos to others in our line as well.

My feet and lower back still hurts today from standing on my feet in York and VA.   I just got back from Stafford and Spotsylvania Counties VA for the 72 hour lit drop.  Everyone in VA feels confident that McCain will make a big comeback.   Whatever the outcome on Tuesday, I felt that I made a big contribution to our neighbors above the Mason-Dixon line and in the Dominion State.
