MATH TIME: Let's see, $2 trillion / 300 million citizens....
Cost of the bailout: $ 6,666.67 per citizen (if it is ultimately $7
trillion, that would be $23,333.33 per citizen)

Total current public debt: $10,655,468,648,978.00 / 300 million
citizens = $ $35,518.23 per citizen

Per Wikipedia, "Adding unfunded Medicaid, Social Security, Medicare,
veterans' pensions, and similar obligations (to the national debt),
this figure rises to a total of $59.1 trillion, or $516,348 per
household.
" This is before the bailout

$516,348 per household!! Our government has lost all sense of the implications of their fiscal irresponsibility:

The question is: what are we as Republicans going to do to prevent the U.S. from committing economic suicide?

Moshe Starkman We are going down the same road as Russia did during the cold war and I don't know understand why the leadership doesn't see it. I am SO! upset that George W. and the 21st Century Republican Congress completely screwed up our economy and prosperity through expanding government, increasing the debt, and getting crushed by scandals. I'm glad that they're gone and that George is leaving... my only consolation is that Bush, Reid, and Pelosi may bankrupted America before Obama can enact his socialist policies.

God help us!
