Menu Bar- Instructions:

1. Click on the STAR to see personal options.
2. Click on your name to see your profile.
3. Click on Home to return to this page.
4. Click on Calender to see listings of all Republican events, show times, etc
5. Click on Groups to find local Young Republican listings in your area.
6. Click on Friends to ??? (This isn't taking me anywhere...)
7. Click on Map to see a listing of YR networks by map.
8. Click on Activism to see what individual members are doing and where.
9. Click on Search to bring up the search engine.
10. Click on News to see the latest news entries, or on post article to post news.
11. Click on Blogs to see the latest blogs, or on write entry to post your own.
12. Click on Videos to see the latest movies, or post video to add your own.
13. Click on Campaigns to see the listings of all the latest campaigns, or on add to include your own.
14. Click on Library to see a listing of selected readings connected to the Republican movement.
15. Click on Donate to send money to the network and keep our movement alive!
16. Click on Help to contact the developers if you need assistance.
17. Click on Twitter, Facebook, MySpace and Ning to find the YRNetwork on other social networks.

The Public Square:
The public square is a miniature forum where people can contribute ideas or general news amongst themselves. The forum appears with the most recent comments complete with their responses.

Profile Management

• How do I change my profile colors?
  • Go to your Profile page and click your picture (you've uploaded a picture, right?). You'll see a panel that will open up with options for your background and text colors.

Social Networking

• How do I accept/reject a "Join My Network" invitation?
  • Go to your Profile page where you will see a list of all invitations that were sent to you.
• How do I send a "Join My Network" request?
  • When you are on the profile page of someone whom you'd like to invite to your network, select the appropriate networks from the options listed below the profile picture and then press "Invite"

Event Mangement/Publicity

• How do I add an event to the calendar?
  • On the calendar page there is a link on the top right of the calendar, above it, that says click here to add an event
  • Only logged in users can add an event to the calendar
  • Calendar events can only be added to networks where you are a member.
• How can I edit an event on the calendar?
  • Only the "author", i.e. the one who posted the event, state administrators, and the system technical team can edit a posted event.
• How do I respond to an event on the calendar?
  • If you are logged in you will see options for "Attending", "Not Attending", "Maybe" (you want to go but not sure if you can), and "Undecided" (for when you're just not sure) on the event page.
  • Alternatively, you can view all of your upcoming events from your schedule.

Political Activism

• How do I post news articles?
  • Go to the News page and click add new article
• How do I post to my blog?
  • Go to the blog page, found directly under the site logo on the home page.
• How do I post a video?
  • Go to the Videos page and click add new video
